Why Tri Delta #14

Written by: Emma Henegan, Community Service Chairman

Its crazy to think its been almost 2 years since I went through sorority recruitment.  It all happened so fast and I can barley remember a lot about it now, but I can always tell you about the Tri Delta rounds.  I still remember who I talked to during each round, not kidding.  That’s ultimately why I chose Tri Delta.  The fact that I was holding on to conversations and the people I met during those rounds was something that kept Tri Delta constantly on my mind.

Still, 2 years later, I am just as happy, if not happier, than I was on Bid Day opening my bid from Tri Delta.  And I would have to say, a lot of the happiness comes from my friends and the people I’ve met in Tri Delta. I've found my best friends, and more importantly, people to do everything with. From binge watching Jersey Shore in the chapter room for an embarrassing amount of hours, to making #corehack videos, there has never been a dull moment with my people.  I can’t help but laugh when I’m with them, and I know that I could always count on them for anything.  I am constantly thankful Tri Delta brought all of us together, and don’t know how I ever lived without them!

The best thing I ever did was go with my gut instinct when choosing a sorority.  Who knows, the girl you barley knew and took a picture with on bid day could become your best friend :)
