Beta Theta has had a fabulous start to our semester! We’ve been loving this spring and all of the awesome opportunities it has brought us. From a National Championship win (Go Tigers!) to a strong academic start to our semester, we have been working hard and enjoying every minute. One of our favorite opportunities the spring brings is Sincerely Yours. Sincerely Yours is a letter writing campaign that is Tri Delta’s main way of supporting our philanthropy, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

This year, our philanthropy chair Porter and assistant chair Taylor did an amazing job encouraging girls to find those extra addresses and write more letters than ever before. We’re so proud of their hard work in getting everyone to meet and exceed their personal goals with letter writing! Their extensive planning and perfecting of this process shows the hearts they have for St. Jude and serving its mission. That passion is an inspiration to all of us!

Every year, we also have a stamping party on a weeknight where we get together to decorate and stamp our letters. We also get to hear more about our partnership from our St. Jude rep. This year our rep Anastasia did an amazing job telling us about where we are with our fundraising goals nationally and how excited St. Jude is. We so appreciate her coming to speak to us and take part in our letter writing process!

Our chapter specifically raises almost 75% of our yearly fundraising total for St. Jude through our Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign. That is a HUGE portion of the funds we raise, and while we stuff and stamp the letters, the people who feel the pull of St. Jude’s mission on their hearts and agree to give are the most important people in this process. To all of our friends and family out there who have given to St. Jude through our chapter, know you have our sincerest thanks. We all want to see a day where childhood cancer is no more, and YOU are helping us accomplish that.
